glmark2

glmark2 is a performance benchmark based on OpenGL 2.0 and ES 2.0.

Here, we only use glmark2-es2, which is pre-installed in RevyOS for x11-glesv2 testing.

th1520 only supports glmark-es2.

Preparation Steps

Before starting, you need to set the chip to high-performance mode. Run the following commands in the terminal as root or with sudo:

echo performance | sudo tee /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/policy0/scaling_governor
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/policy0/cpuinfo_cur_freq

It is recommended to use echo ... | sudo tee ... directly, without entering a full root shell, to avoid missteps. If you have entered a root shell, you can run exit after the operation to return.

If you see the number "1848000" after execution, it means the performance mode is set and you can proceed.

Running the Test

Log in with any user, open a terminal, and enter glmark2-es2. Make sure HDMI is connected to a monitor; do not run via SSH.

After entering the command, a new window with graphics will appear on the desktop.

When the test is complete, the extra window will close and the score will be output in the terminal as glmark2 Score: xxx.
